Summary:
The Configuration Specialist is responsible for the execution of external supplier platform configurations required for new client projects and change management requests. This role requires a demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects, accurately, timely, and within the guidelines of our supplier operations. The Configuration Specialist will be involved in consulting on strategies to meet program requirements and will need to maintain an understanding of multiple platforms, products, and capabilities. This role will collaborate across departments to drive process improvement and best practices that position Onbe as a leader in the industry.
This role is a hybrid role that will work onsite 1-2 days per week at our Dallas, TX location. Occasional travel may be required as part of this position. #LinkedIn-Hybrid
Responsibilities:
Develop and demonstrate a mastery understanding of internal and supplier system platforms, products and capabilitiesUnderstand projects' scope and requirements to assist with meeting project timelines and objectivesComplete the external supplier platform configurations and conduct a quality check to ensure accuracy against the project requirementsAttend regular internal and external supplier facing calls, helping maintain agendas, individually owning talking points related to assigned projectsProvide regular and detailed updates to project owners to ensure project status is knownEscalate blockers with internal and external stakeholders, partnering closely with Implementations and Leadership to action and resolve in a timely mannerPossess the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and accurately remediate production issues in line with the external supplier configurationsComplete change management requests that require external supplier facing engagementCreation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the assigned roleParticipate in beta testing on new features and functionality as requested by enterprise team membersUnderstand partner capabilities and how to apply them to the client project request, adhering to all Risk and Compliance policies and proceduresExecution of miscellaneous project tasks and efficiency initiatives assigned by managerQualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience1-2 years of experience in a supplier facing configuration role using proven implementation or project management methodologiesPreferred experience in implementing and managing projects across multiple platformsExcellent business writing and communication skills with a strong attention to detailKnowledge of Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPointFamiliarity with the payment industry ecosystem preferred but not required
The base salary range for this position is budgeted for $51,120.00 to $59,160.00 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of proven experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, and market demand.
