The Information Technology group delivers secure, reliable technology solutions that enable DTCC to be the trusted infrastructure of the global capital markets. The team delivers high-quality information through activities that include development of essential, building infrastructure capabilities to meet client needs and implementing data standards and governance.

Develop, maintain, improve, and support both internal and client-facing IT infrastructure for API hosting. Provides expert infrastructure oversight, ensuring successful delivery and performance of IT services for our clients and the fulfilment of our obligations and Service Levels Targets.
The candidate must be a self-starter, possess phenomenal written and verbal communication skills, and be able to engage both executive and technical audiences. They must demonstrate a positive and can-do attitude and be a great teammate. They must possess the ability to push for target dates, while being empathetic to challenges and obstacles and be the team's voice in raising and mitigating risks with the help of senior management.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
Perform API platform configuration functions (including setup, deployment, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting) related to API Platforms and Applications (Apigee Private Cloud)Provide technical guidance on API architecture.Coordinate with internal stakeholders on technical questions and troubleshooting.Understand ongoing customer engineering requests from software engineering teams.Ensure stability critical to APIs.Assist with creating middleware-related documentation and diagrams.Support Life Cycle ManagementAbility to deliver multiple concurrent agile projects/tasks on time and a focus on quality.Participate in DR tests.Be willing to follow a rigorous ITIL-based process.Self-motivated and results driven.Talents Needed for Success:
Apigee or API related platform experience in one of the following technologies (MuleSoft, Kong, AWS API Gateway, etc.)Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related study and/or equivalent experience.5+ years in web proxy and API troubleshooting on Linux Platforms5+ years in Distributed Linux Skills and troubleshooting5+ years in fundamentals of Monitoring Linux Systems and Middleware5+ years in Restful APIs, OAuth, API ManagementWorking knowledge of on-premise/cloud-based infrastructures, SDLC pipelines, and deployments/configurations and definition/evangelism of best practices/standardsDemonstrates working knowledge of distributed systems, web infrastructure and protocols, network architectures and distributed transaction processing.Hands on experience with scripting for automation (Shell, Python, etc.)Excellent troubleshooting skillsNice to have skills:
