Charlotte NC (Hybrid).
Responsibilities include translating complex business requirements into scalable data solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with architectural standards.
Rate Range:
$68/hour to $72/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Sr. Data Engineer job responsibilities include:
Translating complex business requirements into logical program designs, code modules, and data solutions in collaboration with the Product Team.Designing and building scalable data solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and project deliverables.Coordinating and executing component integration testing (CIT), systems integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure quality software deployment.Developing and maintaining data ingestion solutions across various sources, including databases, file systems, APIs, and streaming platforms.Building, testing, and enhancing data curation pipelines to integrate data for key performance indicators (KPIs) while ensuring high data quality and integrity.Collaborating with the Data Science team to understand and improve analytic methods, mathematical models, and algorithms.Ensuring compliance with enterprise data governance standards during data manipulation, visualization, and administration.Maintaining and monitoring assigned data engineering capabilities, addressing maintenance issues, and ensuring high availability of the data platform.Developing, maintaining, and enhancing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions across various data sources, creating complex metrics, and optimizing data performance and security.Working closely with business analysts to understand requirements and design visually appealing dashboards and reporting solutions.Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data or BI Engineering, Data Warehousing/ETL, or Software Engineering.Strong experience with big data technologies and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Proficiency in database design and management, specifically with SQL and NoSQL databases.Relevant certifications in data engineering or cloud platforms are preferred.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW. Pay Details:
$68.00 to $72.00 per hour
