Gensler's Brand Team in Dallas is seeking an exceptionally talented and passionate

Brand Designer

to join our team of design thinkers and doers who specialize in helping to tell stories and create experiences in the context of the built environment. As a Gensler experience designer, we help our clients tell their unique stories effectively via every channel available in today's diverse media landscape, with a focus on spatial design. The Brand Design team is embedded in a studio alongside Consulting, Architecture, and interior Design practice areas, creating a unique opportunity to develop multidisciplinary solutions for our clients.

Your Role

This position will focus on graphic design, and illustration. Having capabilities in motion graphics such as adobe after effects or any 3D visualization program and/or signage technical knowledge would be a plus but not required. The candidate is a strong 2D and 3D designer who will be required to quickly generate multiple initial concepts and develop them into viable design solutions. Our ideal candidate will also have strong technical skills from design development through documentation and coordination. Design solutions will have a strong emphasis on integrating concepts into built environments. This individual will coordinate between multiple internal projects teams and clients. Projects will cover several design disciplines including, workplace, hospitality, healthcare, and mixed-use projects.

What You Will Do

Design branded environments including brand identity, naming strategies, environmental graphics, signage, and digital integrationManage own projects within a wider team, ensuring client's needs are met on time and within budgetAssist the Design Director in winning work, create key pitches, and building client relationshipsCompose design presentations that are both verbally and visually compellingInterface with multiple internal design practices, including architecture, interior design, strategy, and master planningBe able to multitask, working on various projects at once, often with tight deadlines and with careful attention to detailUpdate and reinvent static design assets into fresh animationsCreate dynamic, organic, 2D, 3D, technically accurate, animated content for use in external videoCreate lower-thirds, transitions, and other dynamic contentYour Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, environmental graphic design, information design, communication design or similar0-5 years of experience after graduation in design or a related fieldStrong illustration, typography, composition and information design skills across multiple project types such as print communications or digital tools (i.e. websites, apps, etc.)Experience designing for the built environment and comprehension of architectural scales, sections, plans and elevations a plusAbility to visualize ideas in two and three dimensionsExcellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills that works well in an interdisciplinary, fast-paced environmentStrong presentation skills with an ability to communicate the "why" behind design decisionsSoftware Competency: Adobe Creative Suite with CADtools and After EffectsAbility to work in 3D modeling programs such as SketchUp or Revit is a strong advantageImpressive illustration skills a huge plusAbility to design and deliver websites is a plus, but not required
