Based in Southern California, we employ more than 300 people globally, many of whom have dedicated their lives to neonatal care.For more information, please visit www.prolacta.comHow you will contributeThis role will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the growth of our organization and develop your professional skills by...Provide leadership for the development of global strategic marketing plans including objectives and strategy for targeted marketsDrive efforts with product and business development to define an overall product portfolio strategy that will drive the long-term growth of the organizationEnsure the development of all strategic product roadmaps and corresponding marketing plansLead the co-creation and execution of the strategic planLead the process for the continuous evaluation of trends and adjust strategy to capitalize on shifts in the marketplace. Including the process of obtaining and disseminating competitive intelligence across all markets and product linesAnalyze existing product and markets in terms of the ability to compete, gain market share, grow revenue, and sustain or grow profitabilityMonitors business metrics regarding revenues, profitability, market share and product portfolio mix. Communicate these metrics to the senior management teamCollaborate with Sales and Business Development to define effective sales channels of all productsEstablish effective relationship with the sales force with leadership, training, pricing, and positioning expertiseEstablish metrics for the measurement of marketing program effectivenessDevelop and manage the marketing budgetResponsible (in collaboration with sales) for the development of the company's revenue forecastDevelop and provide leadership for a high performing global product and marketing management team, strategic marketing team and global marketing communications team to drive the execution of strategic marketing plans for meeting Prolacta's overall business objectivesResponsible for the overall management of the marketing team providing coaching, leadership and assistance with resources and strategy developmentDrive competency development of the marketing team to achieve the established functional vision
What you bring to the roleBA/BS Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, or related field10+ years sales & marketing experience in life sciences or medical device for a technology driven company5+ years in a leadership positionExperience in strategic planning and collaboration with executive, sales, product development and key operational groupsProven record of leadership and managing a marketing organization with global responsibility and establishing long term strategic growth initiativesProven success and track record as an individual contributor and manager who has grown top line results
