This role is based in Cleveland, Ohio, and is a hybrid work arrangement - individuals may be required to work some days in the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland while working the other days from home.
Organizational Expectations
:
Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland’s Treasury Services department is a service provider for the US Treasury in the areas of revenue collections and eCommerce. In this role, as directed by personnel from the US Treasury’s Bureau of the Fiscal Service, this department is responsible for developing, maintaining, and operating multiple systems geared towards collecting funds for Federal government agencies and providing solutions to take advantage of newer payments technologies. Whether it is for a corporation paying fees to the Patent and Trademark office, an individual paying for campsite fees in a national park, or a former student repaying their student loans, the Treasury Services team is involved. Due to our constant focus maintaining operational excellence while building innovative solutions for the Treasury, Treasury Services has experienced significant growth in the work performed in support of their strategies.
As a Learning & Development Consultant in Treasury Services, you will contribute to the creation, development, and implementation of the department’s learning and development strategies. You will be responsible for facilitating internal programs and workshops, maintaining the annual training calendar, and driving related marketing efforts. You will partner with bank and external consultants and training providers and evaluate the ongoing effectiveness of training programs.
General Responsibilities:
Designs and facilities internal development programs (i.e., buddy program, development workshops).
Partners with external vendors to assist with development programs and provides logistical support.
Coordinates annual training calendar and develops marketing approaches throughout the year.
Supports career development planning and cross-functional leadership discussions.
Partners with various business lines to identify learning gaps and provides solutions to meet business requirements.
Coordinates ad-hoc continuing professional development requests, as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related work experience OR
Two years of college and 7 years of related work experience
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to perform independent research
Theoretical and practical knowledge of key areas in organizational learning and effectiveness
Knowledge of FedLearn is a plus
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
Intermediate knowledge of project management
Presentation and group facilitation skills in a virtual and classroom environment
Knowledge of Articulate or similar tool is a plus
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
Written and verbal communication
Problem solving and analytical skills
Physical Demands and General Working Conditions
Traditional office environment: Employees typically sit most of the day, work with a computer and may answer/respond to phone calls. Physical movement consists of walking for meetings, breaks, etc. Ability to lift items weighing approximately 20 pounds on a limited basis is required. Employees may be required to travel by car/air.
