Position Summary:

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for leading data management and quantitative analyses in support of EnTrans's Supply Chain initiatives. The Analyst leads the construction of spend management databases and information warehousing for the key spend categories to which he/she is assigned. The Analyst must be fully informed of the Supply Chain process, develop and present insightful reports for the development of Supply Chain strategies, and provide data management and analytical support to cross-functional Supply Chain teams.Essential Job Functions:Collects and analyzes EnTrans's global spend dataPerforms/leads the data management and analysis for assigned categoriesCollects and analyzes industry and market research data to assist in the development of Supply Chain strategiesActs as subject matter expert and administrator for EnTrans's cost reduction tracking systemDevelops an expertise in EnTrans's Supply Chain processSupports Supply Chain initiatives by:Collecting detailed spend data, technical specifications, and drawingsIdentifying potential new suppliers for targeted projectsDeveloping and issuing requests for quotation (RFQ)Maintains reports and graphs to monitor the status of inventory turnsLeads the data management and analysis to support annual inflation forecasting

Specific Responsibilities:Analyzing RFQ submissionsLeading data management for supplier negotiation preparationCalculating and reporting cost savingsManaging the implementation of awarded supplier agreementsActs as subject matter expert and administrator for EnTrans's supplier scorecard programTracks and charts major commodity price indicesCreates & supports ad hoc reporting as neededDevelops and communicates key raw material purchase forecasts to suppliers

Job Location:Athens, TN

Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration or equivalent experienceSubject matter Expert with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and AccessProficiency with Microsoft Word and OutlookProject management experience preferred

Language Skills:The employee must possess the ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers in both written and oral form.Fluency in English is highly desired
