The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products by developing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring that issues are resolved before the software is released. This role is critical in maintaining the overall user experience and functionality of our products.DescriptionAs a SDET, you will collaborate with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to test new and existing features of our applications. You will be responsible for designing test plans, executing both manual and automated tests, and reporting any issues or bugs. Your goal is to ensure the software meets the highest standards of functionality, reliability, performance, and security before it reaches our customers.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing across various platforms (web, mobile, desktop).Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and business use cases.Identify, log, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and work closely with developers to resolve them.Conduct root cause analysis to define, isolate, and verify reported defects.Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.Review and analyze system specifications to ensure testing meets quality and performance benchmarks.Design and develop automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or others to improve testing efficiency.Prepare test reports, document test results, and provide clear and actionable feedback to development teams.Assist in the continuous improvement of the testing process, tools, and infrastructure.Skills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).2+ years of experience in software testing (manual and automated).Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, or Appium.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.Solid understanding of various types of testing (functional, integration, regression, performance, etc.).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Experience with bug tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, SQL) is a plus.Familiarity with version control systems like Git.Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
