Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic
Technical Project /Program Manager
adept at collaborating closely with customers to understand and address their current requirements, while also possessing a forward-thinking mindset to proactively identify improvement opportunities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to navigate present needs while strategically positioning the customer for future success.What you'll do:Responsible for the successful technical, schedule, and cost performance of a major program, in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
Act as scrum masterManage one or more projects or programs and supervises professional and technical personnel performing their customary disciplines.Maintain aggressive efforts to achieve objectives. Trains and supervises personnel.Monitor contract, subcontract, and funding; understand and proactively monitor forecasts of program financial performance.Collaborate closely with customer Project Manager to identify, prioritize and implement system updates.Work closely with customer COR for any deliverable or contractual topics or issues; Monitor, assess and proactively communicate issues, concerns, or problems to include contractual issues that may compromise the ability to provide the services; Administrative tasks (such as coordinating on/off boarding of contractor staff, space and equipment requirements, SEC mandatory training with the COR and documenting meeting minutes)Effectively accomplish the management and oversight over the task order as well as the management of all aspects of work associated with providing services to the SEC in a timely and cost-effective manner. This includes tasks such as resource management, risk management, problem identification and resolution, program and project management, quality control, reporting, and transition planningDevelop and maintain an effective quality control program (QCP) to ensure services are performed and deliverables provided in accordance with this PWS. Develop and implement procedures to identify, prevent, and ensure non-recurrence of defective services.
Qualifications
Required qualifications:10 years of experience, may have supervisory or lead experience.Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams through the data engineering and migration process. Demonstrated ability to create and manage project plans, budgets, invoices and timelinesWorking knowledge and implementation of agile framework and methodologiesDemonstrated experience leading data engineering and migration in an AWS environmentProficiency in cloud computing technologies and services, including but not limited to Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS). Experience with cloud migration tools and methodologiesExperience implementing change management processes to minimize disruption during the migration process. This includes communication plans, training programs, and stakeholder engagement strategiesTroubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and address technical challenges that may arise during the migration process. Experience troubleshooting issues related to network connectivity, security, data migration, and application compatibilityContinuous Improvement: Commitment to continuous improvement and optimization of cloud infrastructure and services post-migration. Experience implementing monitoring and optimization strategies to ensure ongoing performance and cost efficiencyMust be a US Citizen or a Green Card HolderMust be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearanceCertifications: Agile Scrum Master, PMPPreferred Qualifications:Certifications: AWS PractitionerBachelors Degree is a plusExperience working with cloud service providers and third-party vendors to facilitate the migration process.
