VTG is seeking a System Administrator in Pearl City, Hawaii.What will you do?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include.Installs and maintains local area network hardware and software including servers, peripherals, network nodes, terminals, and wiring.Evaluates local area network hardware and software requirements and capabilities and makes recommendations; handles related site-specific needs as requiredCoordinates installation of hardware and software by others; coordinates third-party maintenance for network hardware, software, and telecommunications services.Provides support to and trains users in local area network administration and usage of company email, conference bridge, cell phone setup, and standard PC utilization.Monitors and maintains network stability.Communicates and coordinates network schedule, backups, and downtime to users.Maintains a current asset inventory and asset assignment information.Coordinates third-party maintenance for network hardware, software, and telecommunications servicesPrepares and maintains documentation of network configurations and cabling layoutsProvides a variety of technical and administrative systems support to users to include.

Required-Secret Clearance-IAT Level 1 certified (DoDI 8510.01)-One (1) year of experience performing maintenance, configuration, security and remediation of network IP devices, switches, workstations and servers, and VTCsDesired-One (1) year of experience performing maintenance, configuration, security and remediation of network IP devices, switches, workstations and servers, according to Navy Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements.Pay Range: VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $80,000-95,000, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
