Establish and prioritize system hardening and vulnerability assessment activities including integration into eBay’s software development lifecycle.
Communicate security vulnerability risks to business leaders to ensure a clear understanding of these risks. Track all vulnerability remediation efforts and hold teams across the organization accountable for remediation; partner concern of issues and problems when needed. Provide regular reporting on the patch management program and overall operation status of patch compliance. Ensure consistency to eBay’s security policies, standards, and methodologies.
Establish, monitor, and report key performance indicators and key risk indicators for the security vulnerability and system hardening programs. Leverage or implement security tools to improve monitoring functions and drive automation and efficiencies.
Use industry resources and global information security authorities to develop industry leading security vulnerability management and system hardening solutions and approaches. Interface and coordinate work efficiently and effectively with business colleagues and vendors in global locations and time zones. Utilize experience with security vulnerability management tools. Telecommuting permitted - work can be performed from anywhere in the USMinimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.Special Skill Requirements:1.

Perimeter SecuritySalary: $226,158.00-$262,900.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
