Leidos is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to support United States Space Force (USSF) by developing software in support of Space Systems Command (SSC) Cyber Operations Branch rapid agile development of defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to both ground and space based cyber adversarial threats. A successful candidate should be a leader and problem solver with a proven ability to deliver superior results as part of a high performing team in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Demonstrate the ability to support SSC/ECXCO’s prototyping effort to stand up and sustain a
Lead test automation and DevSecOps configuration through agile team collaboration to support on demand automated build and testing in support of 2-week sprint conclusion inside 3-month Product Increments (PI) and a 1-year Epic.
Provide expertise in configuring continuous integration build tools like Jenkins for the inclusion of Security scanning tools such as fortify to ensure code that is hardened as being developed.
Participate in Government led DCO-S PI planning process.
Provide expert assistance in the integration and initial test and checkout of deliveries.
Manage configuration management, on check-in software builds, automated testing & reports, and environment deployment activities.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, software engineering, data science, software development or STEM related specialty
Secret security clearance
No more than two years of experience will be considered
Must have SAFe for Teams certification
Programming Languages (at least 2):
Java, JavaScript, HTML, & Python
Experience in the following applications frameworks (at least 2):
Eclipse, eFast, Fast, Swagger, Selenium or Postman
Experience or knowledge in the following areas:
Agile methodologies, agile project management, software development life cycle management, program/project management, cross-functional team, agile software testing, test-driven development, software test planning, software test automation
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity & knowledge:
SIMP Project, Docker, GIT, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL
Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems Command
Experience with Cyber Operations Branch (SSC/SZYO) program office
Advisory and Assistance Service (A&AS), or System Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) to Government program office
Experience with ACAT I/II level acquisition program
