Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Site HR Manager in the greater Minneapolis area. This a direct hire role, where you will be responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resources function at the plant (roughly 100 individuals). Either personally or by directing others, is responsible for recruitment and selection; classification and compensation; implementation of policies and procedures; employee relations; benefits; training; compliance with federal, state and local employment laws; other administrative duties. In addition, this position will jointly support the coordination of the plant safety effort.
Duties:
- Develops or assists in the development of recruitment strategies and materials, selection instruments and techniques.
- Works closely with all departments to conduct effective and efficient recruiting, testing, and interviewing program. Advises and assists managers on candidate selection.
- Conducts and analyzes exit interviews; recommends changes where deficiencies are identified.
- Conducts all pre-employment processes, including, but not limited to, conditional job offers to applicants, administrative paperwork, reference/criminal checks and coordinating the drug testing and medical evaluation process, as needed.
- Develops and implements an effective and efficient new hire onboarding process, which includes orientation and training programs.
- Conducts job evaluations and analyzes wage and salary data to make recommendations for a competitive compensation plan.
- Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; schedules management conferences with employees; listens to and resolves employee concerns; counsels employees and supervisors.
- Coordinates and conducts orientation and benefits training. Ensures employees are knowledgeable about company benefits and know when/how to enroll in them.
- Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Conducts training, seeks out internal training resources, or recommends external vendors as appropriate.
- Maintains all personnel records and Human Resources Information System records in an accurate, legal and compliant manner. Runs/analyzes reports from database.
- Upon receipt of an internal EEO complaint, conducts a prompt, thorough investigation into the allegations. Prepares a summary of the investigative findings, and reports same to the Human Resources Director with a recommendation, if warranted, for administrative (i.e., disciplinary) action.
- Participates in developing departmental goals, objectives, and systems.
- Supports and initiates plant safety efforts to include case management, OSHA recordkeeping and reporting, workers' compensation, annual audiogram testing, forklift recertification and other safety training.
- Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Product Compliance Policy.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors' degree from an accredited university with 5+ years of experience working in HR
- Ideally 3 years of manufacturing human resources experience within a 24/7 shift operation environment
- Proficiency with computer applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, HRIS.
- Strong communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to problem solve and deal with people at multiple organizational levels both internal and external.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate multi-shift interaction.
Able to travel once ever 6 weeks (roughly) to sister site in Mendota, IL which has a generalist and staff of 40 - Manufacturing environment null
