Job Description
We are looking for a Threat & Vulnerability Engineer to join a smaller team, working hybrid from the HQ in Dublin, CA. This person will be joining a growing team, and will be in a position where they can work cross-functionally within the overall security group and work with a variety of new tools that they may be interested in. This engineer will be responsible for providing engineering design, analysis, and support for information security platforms and devices, routers, firewalls, networks, and operating systems, identifying relevant threats, recommending corrective actions, developing solutions for security issues, and investigating security incidents and breaches. They will help plan and carry out the organizations information security strategy and program to include developing a set of security standards and best practices for the organization, developing policy, standards, and procedure, recommending security enhancements to management as needed, and developing strategies to respond to and recover from a security breach. Annualized compensation is based on years of experience, between 113 - 142k/year + 15% annual bonus potential.

Skills and Requirements
- Character alignment with the Credit Unions mission selflessness, volunteerism, etc.
- 3+ years of Threat & Vulnerability Management / Penetration Testing experience
o Experience working at a smaller company, more as a jack-of-all-trades with the ability to independently drive vulnerability management
- Strong understanding with industry-wide frameworks and standards specifically MITRE ATT&CK
- Python
- Vulnerability Scanning and Testing tools (Snyk, Qualys preferred)
- CSPM tools (Wiz preferred) - Experience on a CIRT, CERT, CSIRC or SOC team
- CISSP, OSCP, GPEN, etc. null
