Rosebud Preschool is Seeking a Director!

Rosebud Preschool, nestled in the heart of Rose Villa Senior Living Community, creates intergenerational connections that benefit both young and old.

In operation since Spring 2023, Rosebud consists of two classrooms and is licensed to serve 26 children ages 24 months to 5-years-of-age. Our teaching team consists of 4 teachers, an educational assistant, an intergenerational program coordinator, and a director.

We are seeking an experienced director to build on the existing program foundation and bring our school to a place of excellence. This person must be skilled in participatory leadership and have knowledge and experience of child-centered, constructivist practice. This is a hands-on position. The director will be in the classroom working directly with children as a regular part of daily responsibilities.

Unlike many preschool director positions, this person will NOT be responsible for routine administrative functions, such as billing. Being a part of the Rose Villa community means that there are support systems in place, which allow our preschool director to focus on what only they can do - supporting teachers, children, and families to have a rich and meaningful early childhood education experience.

QualificationsAt least two years of experience as a preschool director with the ability to lead, engage, and inspire,A BA in ECE or Child Development or a BA in any field with at least 15 credit hours of coursework in ECE or Child Development.Love for children and ability to teach and guide in a caring and supportive manner.Ability to build relationships with families and staff and create a dynamic learning environmentOutstanding relationship and organizational skills.Meet state specific regulations for the rolePhysically able to interact with children on their level and to lift a minimum of 40lbs.Wage and benefits :
