Job description
SUMMARY
Members of the Banquet Set Up team will lift, transport and/or construct furniture, items for food service, audio / visual equipment, decorations and other miscellaneous requests outlined in the Banquet Event Order (BEO) to ensure guest satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Lift, transport and/or construct furniture, items for food service, audio / visual equipment, decorations and other miscellaneous requests outlined in the Banquet Event Order (BEO).Operate company vehicle to move banquet equipment and furniture to various areas of the resort.Follow outlined procedures to (1) ensure the security and proper storage of banquet inventory and equipment, (2) replenish supplies and communicate inventory in a timely and efficient manner, and (3) minimize misuse and breakage of china, glassware, linen and supplies and to ensure that no re-usable goods are wasted.Adhere to all department specific, resort and company standards, policies, procedures and safety rules at all times.Work in a team environment to set up, execute, tear down and clean scheduled banquet events while delivering superior customer service and ensuring complete guest satisfaction.Maintain a positive, professional and respectful attitude toward guests, coworkers and management.Communicate with Banquet Set Up Shift Leaders and Banquet Set Up Supervisor to guarantee a successful function.Assist kitchen staff with food preparation / plating to ensure meals are delivered to the correct recipients in a timely manner following all safety and resort guidelines.Stock service stations with items such as ice, napkins, and straws.Remove trays and stack dishes for return to kitchen after meals are finished.Knowledge and use of proper sanitation procedures to clean banquet equipment and facilities, including restrooms.Stock service stations with items such as ice, napkins, and straws.Remove trays and stack dishes for return to kitchen after meals are finished.All other duties as assigned.
