Regional Sales Director

Job Summary:
The Regional Sales Director leads a team of Territory Sales Managers and Clinical Sales Specialists to achieve the strategic initiatives of the group. Works closely with EVP of Sales and company leadership to plan, direct, train and manage the team on overall sales goals for the organization.
Location: Remote, Eastern US
Duties and Responsibilities:Works closely with territory sales managers to identify opportunities and develop sales plans to increase market share.Achieves regional sales quota.Partners with team to develop a solid pipeline for sales.Develops and implements strategies for existing and new accounts.Establishes contact and relationships with decision makers in large, strategic medical facilities, and assist TSM in closing the business.Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts with the TSMs, EVP and Finance.Maintains competitive knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies.Conducts weekly sales team meetings to ensure TSMs alignment with goals and strategy.Works with cross functional partners such as Marketing, Managed Care, Human Resources, Finance, Sales Operations, Billing, Client Relations, IT and Legal.Utilizes Salesforce.com and other data sources to provide field sales with efficiencies and processes to improve business performance.Other related duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities:
Interviews, hires, and trains new staffManages and develops team, including performance management, goal setting and coaching.Performs other related duties as assignedRequired Skills and Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of Microsoft officeProficiency with Salesforce.comExcellent sales and customer service skillsStrong supervisory and leadership skillsEducation and Experience:
BS Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum of 5+ years of sales manager/director experience in related successful territory experienceWork Environment & Physical Demands:
This is a full-time remote position.40% travel
