The Company will be investing in SAP and consolidating core applications into SAP starting in 2024. We are looking for an SAP S4 HANA Basis and Security lead to join our SAP implementation team. This position will be responsible for administration, configuration, and support of SAP S/4HANA and RISE implementation. This role involves ensuring the performance, reliability, and security of our SAP landscapes, including system installations, upgrades, and migrations including decisions surrounding application conversion and development.
This position reports to the VP Finance and works from our support service office located in Frederick, MD.
Pay Range: $100,000 - $120,000 based on experience
Essential Job Duties :SAP HANA Administration: Manage and maintain SAP HANA databases, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.RISE with SAP Implementation: Lead and support RISE with SAP initiatives, including system migrations, cloud integrations, and transformation projects.System Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to ensure high availability and reliability of SAP systems.User and Security Management: Manage user access, roles, and permissions, ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations.Patch Management: Apply SAP patches, support packages, and enhancements in accordance with best practices and organizational policies.Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies for SAP systems to ensure data integrity and availability.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to SAP BASIS, HANA, and RISE environments.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Provide regular reports on system health and performance.Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, SAP functional consultants, and stakeholders to support system integrations and project implementations.Education and Experience :
5-7 years of relevant experience in SAP BASIS administration, including hands-on experience with SAP HANA RISE.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Relevant certifications in SAP BASIS. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of certification.2 life cycle implementations with S/4 HANA preferred. Proven experience with RISE with SAP projects, including migrations and cloud integrations.Strong understanding of SAP HANA architecture, administration, and optimization.Experience with SAP BASIS tasks including system installations, upgrades, and configurationsExperience with SAP Solution Manager, CHARMProficiency database management, and backup/recovery solutionsProficiency with Azure & SAP Cloud PlatformExperience working in a growing environment strongly preferred.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines.Self-starter able to develop initiatives, drive results and prioritize responsibilities.Ability to work without direct supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and time.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.PERKS WITH US!
