Position Responsibilities:
In this position you will be responsible for management oversight of the field crew. You will manage quality of work to include accuracy, thoroughness, and clarity. You will be responsible for meeting schedules, budgets, and responsive service to clients. Oversee operation of surveying and/or SUE instrumentation and equipment such as prisms, total stations, global positioning systems (GPS), data collectors, magnetic locators, and ground penetrating radar. You will have communication with clients, project workers, and public. You will represent Stewart in a safe and professional manner, exhibiting honesty, practicing good ethics, and adhering to traffic laws/practicing safe driving habits.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:Pass a drug test.Dependable and physically able to work outdoors and on construction sites in all weather conditions.Willing and able to work overtime as required.4 years of technical experience in subsurface utility engineeringHigh School Degree or EquivalentPossess a valid driver's license and ability to pass a driving record check.Must be willing to perform work after regular business hours, on weekends, and sometimes on holidays when necessary.Advanced understanding and knowledge of Subsurface Utility Engineering and associated equipment.Advanced Utility Locator Training Course preferred. You are willing and able to perform the physical demands of the position, including squatting, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders, traversing difficult terrain, and accessing construction sites in all weather conditions. You are willing and able to frequently move and operate land surveying equipment.

Stewart's Geomatics group captures, processes, and delivers spatially acquired data in a wide variety of avenues to include traditional land surveying, global positioning systems, laser scanning and unmanned aerial systems (drones). This information can be presented through traditional CAD drawings, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), 3D models, photography, videography, or combination thereof.
