What youll be doing As the CSP Security Architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing strategies for implementing a Multi-Cloud Hybrid Platform for telecom products and solutions to meet Public Sector and Enterprise requirements. This includes gathering requirements, assessing strategies to meet the North Star Cloud architecture and contractual obligations with respect to cybersecurity compliance for Federal customers. You will work with cross-functional teams of highly skilled individuals employing industry best practices to leverage cloud technology, cybersecurity standards for mobile networks such as 5G, along with IoT, SDWAN, MEC, Unified Comms, and others. You will architect compliance-by-design and secure solutions to meet federal and state cybersecurity mandates and regulations to meet Verizons business objectives. The role, along with the product owners and Cyber Compliance Solutions team members, will augment Verizon products to meet the needs in key practices and make consumption of compliance requirements easy and drive cost efficiency in product business cases. Integrating secure-by-design best practices and Compliance standards into CSP environments to meet a common ATO goal for products and solutions. Implementing the strategy and requirements for a Golden Boundary linking critical functions (OSS, BSS, Product, etc.) together with Interconnect Service Agreements. Driving detailed compliance requirements for products to make consumption easy for product owners and their delivery partners. Developing strategies for product modernization to meet CSP security requirements and standards. Develop templated requirements and reference architecture to supplement functional product (network, platforms, and apps) requirements into an IRL. Driving the Cyber Compliance Solutions Strategy with CISO and the other Verizon Teams. What were looking for Youll need to have: Must be a current participant of the Department of Defense Skillbridge Program or of the Hiring our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program Cohort 1-2025. Bachelors degree or four or more years of work experience. Six or more years of relevant work experience. Experience in designing and/or evaluating/assessing Multi Cloud and Hybrid Architecture. Experience in Compliant cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, OCI, Terraform, Kubernetes) specific to the NIST guidelines. Experience in 2 or more of the following technologies/frameworks: Kubernetes, AWS Govcloud, Azure Government, OCI, Ansible, Nessus, Terraform, RedHat OpenShift, Cloud Native Solutions, NIST, FedRAMP, TIC3.0, ZeroTrust Frameworks. Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time. Even better if you have one or more of the following: A degree. AWS Certificate for Security/Solutions Architect/Cloud Practitioner. ISACA CSX-P,ISC2 CISSP/CCSP certifications. Knowledge of ServiceNow.
