ERP Suites is looking for a Senior JD Edwards Functional HCM and Payroll Consultant to join our growing team.In this role, you will provide advisory and consulting services to address business needs across the enterprise leveraging JD Edwards.As the functional subject matter expert for JD Edwards Human Capital Management and Payroll applications, you will need a deep understanding of the features, functionality, and integration of JDE HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Employee Self Service with other modules and applications.We’re looking for someone who can lead a team, work independently, and juggle multiple tasks. Experience leading or managing projects is key, with prior experience leading or managing consulting projects.Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication skills are a must along with a high commitment to exceeding performance expectations. Responsibilities:Consulting and Advisor :Expertise in JDE HCM, Payroll, Self Service Human Resources, Time and Labor, Benefits.
Experienced in Implementing, configuring and supporting HCM & Payroll Applications such as Employee Information, Organization Assignment, Benefits Administration, Position Control, Recruitment Management, Compensation and Performance management, Payroll, Piece Rate, Job Union Reporting, Payroll Reconciliation, Time Card, Health Safety Management, Cobra, Self Service Administration.
This position has led the end-to-end implementation of JDE HCM and Payroll business processes through the stages of planning, design, building, testing, and deployment.
The consultant will facilitate and orchestrate client business requirements, design, business process design workshops, and functionality demos during upfront client engagement of plan and design phases.
The consultant will be responsible for working closely with both client and internal project teams during data conversion, configuration design and testing during the build, test, and deploy phases.
The consultant would have 2+ end to end implementation engagements experience during their tenure.
The consultant leverages past experiences to provide consulting and advisory to clients in relation to business operations, business transformation and solving business problems as it relates to the JDE ERP.
Configure applications and conduct iterative unit testing.
Assist in creating training materials and quick reference guides to support user adoption and help in creating test scripts.
Conduct training sessions to prepare end users for deployment and provide post-production support.
Collaborate with teams to identify business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures.
Assist practice leadership in creating proposals, budgets, and work plans. Participate in other business development activities as appropriate.
Study customer requirements on HCM and Payroll processes and map to ERP. Analyze As-Is Processes and design the optimized To-Be Processes.
Perform Design Validation and identify areas of improvement.
Provide high-quality service to customers by regularly keeping incidents and cases updated and using appropriate channels of communication.
Stay up to date with new JD Edwards releases and features and present opportunities for improvement.
Ensure alignment between both business and technical teams to drive effective, timely solutions that fulfill both strategic and operational need.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Capital or Business or Finance, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field.
At least 7 to 15 years of related work experience in JD Edwards in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross-industry clients.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with Enterprise Application Integration.
Strong leadership skills: able to conduct meetings and write functional specifications for the development team.
Able to work with clients to understand current state processes and define future state processes based on business objectives.
Preferred experience with program leadership, governance, and change enablement.
Must have an eagerness to mentor junior staff.
Must be a team player and share knowledge through knowledge transition.
Expertise and ability to support managed services customers in JD Edwards Workforce Management modules specially in payroll, time and labor, benefits and employee HCM management
Hands-on experience with JD Edwards ERP Implementations, support, enhancements, and upgrade projects.
Reporting tools.
Up to date with regulatory HCM and Benefits regulations in the U.S. as it relates to JDE ERP systems of employee management and benefits.
Preferred Qualifications:A Master’s degree or PHR certification is a plus.
Exposure to areas integrations with ADP or Payroll or Benefits 3rd party systems from JDE
Familiarity with BI Publisher, and other third-party software.
Familiarity with SQL.
Familiarity with Orchestrator, UDO, Composite Pages and new release 24 technologies.
