SENIOR BRAND MANAGERNew York CityDIO is a divine, new line of ready-to-drink, “celestially canned cocktails”. Seeking a NYC-based, entrepreneurial marketing machine with an unquenchable thirst for innovative cocktails.About DIODIO is a new line of ready-to-drink, high-ABV canned cocktails (13.5-15% ABV). Named after Dionysus, the original party god, DIO offers modern twists on classic cocktails from around the world. Each elixir offers an all-natural, “less guilt” drinking experience sure to bewitch any mortal palate, using only premium spirits and ingredients. Our tantalizing tonics are sinlessly sweetened, with each can containing less than 230 calories and 8g of sugar per can.
The PositionWe are looking for a cocktail enthusiast with an entrepreneurial mindset and successful brand marketing background (beverage background required, spirits preferred). This is the ideal opportunity for high-growth seeking self-starters looking to progress in their career.Under the direction of the CEO, this role will play a fundamental role at DIO in spearheading our omnichannel brand strategy. This role will be responsible for owning all key customer touch points, igniting a passionate customer base, evaluating key strategic and tactical brand activation opportunities, and working cross-functionally to plan and execute major marketing campaigns.Candidates must be based in the NYC area.CompensationBase Salary Range: $110,000-130,000The salary range for this position is based on the applicant's experience, skills, and qualifications. ResponsibilitiesOwn all aspects of the brand’s marketing and implementation across channels, including content production, communication strategy, public relations, events, and partnershipsIdeate, plan, and develop omnichannel marketing campaigns (new product launches, new retailer launches, and seasonal promotions) while leading coordination cross-functionally with the team on product development, creative, and supply chain to ensure smooth executionLead social media strategy development and execution, creating engaging content optimized for SEO and driving social media presenceSupport sales and digital marketing teams by creating innovative point-of-sale and in-store experiences, preparing presentations and producing brand-consistent digital assetsInform the evolution of the brand story and ensure consistency across all channels as the company expands into new products and marketsExpand brand activations through memorable moments for customers and retailers, including events, tastings, out-of-home (OOH) campaigns and cross-brand partnershipsManage influencer and brand ambassador relationships aligned with the brand’s values, coordinating collaborations, product gifting, and campaign approvalsDevelop PR strategies, create press releases, and pitch stories to enhance brand visibility; cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencersTrack and measure the success of campaigns using analytics tools, generate KPI reports, and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize marketing strategiesRequirementsBased in NYCBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.7+ years of marketing experience in the beverage industry (alcohol or start-up experience ++)Proven experience in brand marketing with a focus on content creation, social media, and press relations.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present ideas clearly to diverse teams.Demonstrated success managing digital campaigns across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest).Proficiency with marketing tools like Shopify, Klaviyo, GA, Facebook Analytics, and Canva (Photoshop a plus).Highly analytical and strategic, with the ability to set performance goals, KPIs, and analyze metrics.Creative mindset with a strong eye for brand-forward and disruptive content design.Experience creating original content from ideation through to execution.Strong negotiation and deal-making skills; adept at building relationships and closing deals.Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a flexible startup environment.Hands-on and willing to assist with various tasks, including logistical support when needed.Experience in high-growth startups or new-to-market brands is a plus.
