WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FORAs a Strategy Director, you'll lead and support strategy developmentandbring to life the most effective and interestingexperiencesatop-tier retailbrand can make. You'll partner with creativesand designers, business leads,experientialproductionand other disciplines withinMomentum's network to ensure strategy is properly reflected across all initiatives/touchpoints.You'll bring inspiration and actionable insights to the fast-evolving retail landscape and help evolve the agency's POV on consumer behavior and shopping experiences.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)

Work with clients to ensure that all partnerships have a clearly defined strategic fit with their long-term goalsHelp to define clear, measurable goals for partnerships, in order to execute effectivelyBe in lockstep with Creative to help shape, elevate and critically evaluate all ideas to ensure they are grounded in behavioral and cultural insights.Help to build out the Partnerships Strategy practice, establishing core framework and functions to best serve clients and drive growthWork closely with Sponsorship Consulting to ensure that the partnership role aligns with portfolio shapeAct as brand champion, leading strategy development for assigned account(s)Serve as an excellent leader in aligning strategy with a client's business goals and objectivesThoughtfully champion creative ideas and strategic POVs with the client: deliver well-devised, clear, concise and compelling client presentations to sell-in recommendationsDevelop compelling presentations through strategic frameworks and visual storytelling to sell-in new programs and conceptsWork with clients to determine and identify objectives, goals, KPI's, strategies and tacticsDeveloping and deliver high quality, compelling client presentations and new business presentations on a consistent basisMentor and develop junior staffFoster a team environment and play an active role in hiring new team membersDevelop frameworks and methodologies for approaching major strategic issues, leveraging existing Momentum intellectual capitalParticipate in the identification, prioritization and scoping of client opportunitiesSupporting Momentum's ValuesAll other duties as assigned

HERE'S WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS)

Must have 7+ years' experience in brand, experientialor marketing strategywithina marketing agency/consulting firmBachelor's degreeExperience within soccer or FIFA partnership space strongly preferredExcellent storytelling,presentation and creative writing capabilitiesDemonstrated leadership and people management skills - able to lead projects independently and manage,inspire and grow a team of highly driven individualsExperience working with retail brands and/or retailer trade and marketing teams a plusHands-on qualitative and quantitative research experienceHuge passion for what communication and creativity can achieve in the worldStrong foundation of business andsuccessful leadership of clientsConfidence and credibility to hold high-level strategic discussions with senior executives internally andwithclientsKnowledge of integrated marketing disciplines (including primary research, segmentation, targeting,etc.)Possess an entrepreneurial spirit with comfort for ambiguity

SALARY RANGEThe salary range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; location and region; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
