Business Development Executive - Retail, Services and Telecom

Business Development Executive – Retail, Services and TelecomCapgemini is looking for a high-touch, passionate and self-motivated Sales Executive, with 15+ years of Management Consulting or Industry leadership experience. The role will be responsible for leading retail and telecom client growth strategies and sales initiatives for management consulting and large-scale transformation programs.
The candidate would be encouraged to perform market and client development, foster client relationships, work with Capgemini capabilities to help clients meet their business objectives, and to operationally manage the delivery and budget of projects. The individual would be expected to lead teams of consulting professionals that will deliver world class services to our clients. Other responsibilities will include contributing to the development of offerings specific and unique to Capgemini. Existing offerings and frameworks exist, and a large component of this role will be scaling our services across Canada.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and execute client business development and sales strategies/account plans/activities in meeting sales targets
Hunter who can help with strong set of market client CXO relations and acquisition of new logos in Retail, Services and Telecom sector
Work with Capgemini Business Lines to create joint ownership, targets, and execution plans when projects have multiple business lines participating
Strong experience with SPIN selling and demonstrating business acumen in selling IT- Apps, Infrastructure/Cloud, Data, BPO, network services and ERP/Supply Chain programs
Governance and relationships management of sold business to drive strong account growth, client satisfaction and key metrics
Experience on selling and delivering large managed services and business transformation deals
Business domain depth in selling services to sub segments- Grocery, Quick Service Retail, Fashion, Convenience Stores, Hard good retailers, CP companies etc. Foster careers for team members in sales and delivery. Experience in selling to Telecom firms with domain knowledge will be an added advantage
Required Skills
10+ years of sales experience in incubating and executing large scale digital business transformation deals with Retail sector clients as active members.
Minimum 7+ years of strong Retail industry experience. Experience in Telecom industry is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong Account Growth and Sales experience with focus on digital business transformation deals such as IT- Apps, Infra, Data, BPO, and network services
Entrepreneurial mindset with ambition to grow the business
Experience developing and leading capability assessments, business cases, use cases, transformation program roadmaps
Experience in selling transformational cloud and outsourcing deals
Understanding of industry business trends and current challenges
Effective presentation style – ability to summarize into key business impacts
External marketing experience is a plus (e.g. supporting industry round tables, publishing or co-authoring articles, speaking at conferences, etc.)
Minimum 10 years of experience guiding teams
