About the Role:As a Quality Assurance Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the standards of our certifying bodies, FDA and our clients. You will assist in ensuring that our products maintain compliance with all quality assurance procedures. Reporting directly to the Quality Assurance Manager, you'll be involved in everything from reviewing and organizing essential documentation to supporting production teams in delivering top-notch products.
What You'll Do:Review and convert Master Manufacturing Records (MMRs) into fillable PDFs to streamline production checks.Issue and update batch records based on production schedules, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Maintain meticulous records, track discrepancies, and report on batch record statuses to keep our operations running smoothly.Generate COAs for finished products and release finished products in ERP system and communicate it to all stakeholders.Maintain several logs such as deviation, change control, customer complaint log, rework, reprocess, in-process etc. ensure they are up to date. Follow up on deadlines to close them in time.Create and issue rework, reprocess, in-process forms as needed for production.Create, revise and maintain finished product specifications and get QA manager and customer approvals where required.Assist in internal audits and collaborate on root cause analyses to drive continuous improvement.Organize both physical and electronic documentation, ensuring we are always audit-ready.Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide feedback to enhance quality operations.
Who You Are:A bachelor’s degree in science, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field is preferred.1-3 years of experience in quality assurance, ideally in the food and dietary supplements sector.Knowledgeable about GMPs, HACCP, allergens, and food safety regulations.Detail-oriented with strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.A proactive communicator who thrives under pressure and can manage multiple priorities.Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new software tools (ERP systems, Docusign, etc.).Bilingual in English and Spanish? That’s a plus!
