We are looking for a skilled
Midstream Engineering Manager
to join our team and lead engineering activities in the oil and gas sector, specifically within midstream operations. This position involves managing projects related to pipelines, facilities, and operational maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a blend of strong leadership skills, technical proficiency, and a deep understanding of midstream systems and industry regulations.Key Responsibilities:Oversee engineering activities for pipelines, facilities, and operations within midstream oil and gas projects.Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure project delivery meets safety, quality, budget, and schedule targets.Manage engineering design processes, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards.Provide technical leadership in optimizing gathering, compression, automation, processing, and measurement systems for natural gas transmission facilities.Ensure effective communication and coordination with project sponsors, external engineering teams, construction crews, and regulatory agencies.Lead multiple projects simultaneously, balancing technical and managerial duties.Address project challenges and adjust engineering strategies to meet project needs.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering
is preferred.5+ years of engineering experience
in the natural gas industry is required.Proficiency in designing and optimizing systems such as gathering, compression, processing, and piping interconnects in natural gas transmission facilities is required.Strong knowledge of
ANSI, ASME, ASTM, API, IEC, NACE, NEC, and NFPA
codes is required.Proficient in
Microsoft Office Suite
(Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams),
Microsoft Project ,
AutoCAD , and
ProMax
simulation software is required.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with government agencies, engineering resources, construction teams, and vendors.Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adjust to changing priorities.Flexibility
to work weekends, holidays, and respond to after-hours calls as needed.
