Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced IT Project Managers to lead and support technology initiatives for an exciting joint venture with a major healthcare system. Projects span multiple areas, including Infrastructure, Applications, EPIC EMR, Security, and Process Governance.
This role involves managing complex projects with minimal supervision from executive leadership. You will oversee project planning, allocate resources, supervise support staff, prepare reports, and provide actionable recommendations to management. Additionally, you may serve as a consultant on projects beyond your direct assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project management for IT initiatives across multiple domains.Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery.Coordinate with stakeholders to align project objectives with business needs.Manage resources, allocate tasks, and supervise support staff.Prepare progress reports and present recommendations to leadership.Ensure compliance with governance and security protocols.Act as a consultant on related IT and healthcare technology projects when needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related technical/management field.5+ years of IT project management experience.Proven track record of managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment.PMP Certification (preferred)Previous experience managing IT projects within healthcare.Familiarity with EPIC EMR systems and healthcare infrastructure projects.
