Sales Project Manager to join our Suppression Team based in Butler, WI.
About The RoleThis is a dynamic opportunity to work with our Suppression Team in a project management capacity. This role requires one to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate their ability to balance the needs of customers and local authorities to ensure customer satisfaction.
The Sales Project Manager, Suppression, works closely with the suppression and design teams from project kickoff to completion while successfully managing project change orders to ensure efficient, timely, quality service and inspections for our customers. Engage in impactful work as you contribute to enhancing safety standards and protecting lives through your sales leadership and relationship building with Blair Fire Protection’s customers.
Local travel within the southeast WI area is required. Vehicle allowance provided.

Responsibilities:
Generate, cultivate, and acquire sales and new leads while maintaining current customer accountsProvide detailed estimates and manage new contractsCreate, maintain, and manage budgets for multiple fire protection projects and execute contract change ordersProactively build relationships and communicate with owners, architects, general and sub-contractors, engineers, and designers throughout the construction processLead, plan, schedule, and coordinate the timely execution of installations, upgrades, and modifications of fire protection systemsResponsible for the design and submittal of drawings to authorities having jurisdictionProvide electrical and fire alarm-related technical support to the suppression department technicians and field teamCompletion and certification of NICET III – Special Hazards within one year of start date
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree (or equivalent work experience)5 years of project management experience in the construction industryExperience with estimating, creating, and managing budgets for multiple projects is requiredStrong knowledge of NFPA building codesExceptional time management and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Procore or similar project management softwareSprinkler design background is a plus but not required; AutoCAD, NICET, AutoSprink by MEPCADValid and in good standing driver’s licenseMust be authorized to work in the U.S.
