FI Consulting is seeking a full-time Technical Project Lead - Senior Consultant to support the delivery of financial, analytical, and technical support services for our Federal client. This role is a hybrid position and will require an on-site presence at the client site in Camp Springs, MD.

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to provide technical leadership for a project that will support the OCFO of a major federal agency in automating financial reporting, data visualization and analysis, procedure documentation and enhancement, leveraging RPA to automate manual tasks, and enterprise application development and enhancement.
The responsibilities of this role will include working directly with client-side leadership to drive requirements gathering and pinpoint opportunities for improvements to their current technology and processes, followed by assisting junior staff with solution design and development while managing daily workflow across the project. Additionally, providing hands-on development support may be required at times. Experience in areas including federal accounting, data engineering, and project management is strongly preferred.
Required:Experience with SQL and PythonExperience with Databricks and AWSFamiliarity with PowerApps and SalesforceExperience with the Agile methodology, drafting stories and using JIRAFamiliarity with federal accounting practices and systemsAbility to quickly ramp up as a self-starterAbility to work in a multi-cultural environmentExperience providing technical leadership to small and medium-sized teamsStrong communication skills with attention to details are also paramount to success3-5 years of experienceResponsibilities include:
Partnering with client staff to understand needs and gather requirements while working to solve challenges through the development of specific analytical software toolsSupporting junior staff in designing solutions and planning development cyclesClearly communicating complex, technical concepts to both technical and non-technical clientsProvide technical guidance and direct development support to junior staff as neededActively seeking out opportunities for FI to expand the solutions we offer to our clientsPreferred Qualifications:
