In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive healthcare to infants, children, and adolescents, focusing on preventive care, health education, and the management of acute and chronic illnesses.Key Responsibilities:Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients, including history taking, physical examinations, and developmental screenings.Diagnose and manage a variety of pediatric conditions, including acute illnesses, chronic diseases, and developmental disorders.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals as needed.Provide immunizations, well-child visits, and health screenings, ensuring adherence to established guidelines.Educate patients and their families about health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of ongoing health issues.Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, providing follow-up care and referrals when needed.Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of pediatric care protocols.Qualifications:Active NP license in the state of Illinois1 to 2 years of pediatrics experience (preferred)Active DEABenefits:Competitive hourly rate.Flexible scheduling options.Opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of patients.Access to a supportive and collaborative team.
