The worldwide Apple Retail Engagement & Marketing (REM) team defines, makes and delivers programs, campaigns, initiatives and experiences that help Apple Retail’s customers and teams discover, be inspired by, learn about and go further with Apple’s products and services, and does so in a manner that is true to our values. Apple is looking for an experienced art director and experiential designer to join the Worldwide Retail Engagement and Marketing team. In this role, you will shape the creative strategy, and design the experiences and content for live in-person and virtual events, meetings, and conferences that inform, inspire, and motivate Apple Retail teams around the world.
Description
You’ll help lead and design moments that move audiences across many disciplines: Keynote design, document design, environmental design, photography, illustration, motion graphics, and more. You’ll collaborate directly with senior leaders and members of Apple’s executive team. And you’ll work closely with fellow designers, strategists, writers, video creatives, and subject matter experts from all across Apple. You’ll craft clear, inspiring, and alluring visual storytelling for our meetings, events, and conferences — from concept to delivery. We’re looking for a super-smart design power-user that can quickly turn complex ideas into simplified and beautiful creative solutions. Someone who cares deeply about the details and getting them just right every time. And someone who will be a creative and positive force on the team.
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years in a professional experiential design or creative environment with a proven mastery of Keynote, Illustrator, and Photoshop
A portfolio of work that showcases strong knowledge of good design principles, typography and layout, motion graphics expertise, proficiency in After Effects or similar, for live and virtual event experiences

Deep experience in experiential design, and developing creative concepts and content from ideas to execution for in-person and virtual events
Ability to confidently articulate concepts and present work to senior leaders and executives, strategic partners via clear, compelling storytelling.
Proven record driving collaboration and influencing decisions by building positive relationships
Experience working with international creative teams (including production and stage crews) across various Geos to ensure the delivery of globally relevant and locally-attuned work
Strong project management experience, with the ability to drive multiple priorities simultaneously on deadline and within budget
Demonstrated experience and/or interest in emerging technologies, including ML/AI and VR/XR.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $137,100 and $206,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
