Job Summary

Enhances existing products and/or develops new products for an assigned product(s) area. Using industry knowledge and experience, develop products that correlate with current customer and prospect customer needs. Assist clients in selecting products, field technical inquires, generate quotes, enter orders, and oversee orders through the production process. Your expertise will help ensure customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.

Job Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineering and customers to enhance existing products and assist in the development of new products that meet customer needs

Using industry knowledge and experience, develop products that correlate with current customer and prospect customer needs

Enter orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are correct and complete

Participates with cost accounting, marketing management, and other functional areas in the development of pricing and cost recommendations

Participates in trade shows and industry events, customer and prospective customer presentations and visits, product demonstrations and other similar events by presenting assigned product line(s)

Responds to product-related informational requests from internal and external departments/personnel and serves as the primary contact for customer service issues pertaining to the product line

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customer accounts, ensuring their needs are met and inquiries are addressed promptly

May serve as the primary interface for customers on business and technical issues

Keeps current on technology and trends of product related knowledge

Develops and may oversee the generation of marketing reports as they pertain to the product line(s)

May be responsible for managing others in this role

Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

Job Responsibilities Part II

Assists management with special projects and assignments as requested

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred with at least five years of related experience, and a minimum of 3 years of experience with direct product management responsibility

Demonstrated business and technical acumen

Thorough understanding of product development and engineering processes

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Understanding of Marketing Communications and Product Marketing

Strong customer relationship skills

Strong computer and organizational skills

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally

Air Handling Unit or Coil experience

U.S. Citizenship required.
