ICF is hiring a Quality Assurance Analyst to deliver new test functionality and support existing frameworks. This position requires strong deductive reasoning, attention to detail, persistence, patience, and creativity. The individual will work with our component, integration, internal development teams, and Business Analysts teams to analyze, build and maintain test frameworks and suites across all test phases. The individual also work with our business, development, and testing teams to analyze, build and maintain processes across the organization.
The Work
You will be part of an established team supporting our General Services Administration (GSA) client in Washington, DC. The ICF team at GSA performs custom software development to modernize the legacy platform into a cloud platform using modular design standards. The team works closely with clients and other contractors to ensure the performance and reliability of the Integrated Award Environment (IAE) public-facing, mission-critical applications.
What you'll be doing:
Work with IT and business stakeholders to define the system requirements and design approach and write corresponding user stories and acceptance criteria
Create functional artifacts such as a data dictionary, roles matrix, or process diagram
Coordinate with developers and testers to ensure a shared understanding of business requirements
Obtain clarifications from product owners and other stakeholders as needed
Develop an understanding of the client processes and procedures and recommend improvements to the end user experience
Write test plans and test cases for all user stories
Perform functional and regression testing within sprints
Perform smoke testing and integration testing of applications after deployments
Support automated testing by writing test scripts using the Gherkin syntax
Ensure all pages meet 508 compliance requirements using WAVE, AMP, and JAWS
What you must have:
Bachelor’s degree and 1 or more years of work experience as a business analyst/tester OR 5 or more years of work experience (with no degree requirement)
1 or more years of experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria
1 or more years of experience facilitating requirements gathering meetings with clients and end users
1 or more years of experience testing and logging defects, and working with developers to ensure defects are appropriately resolved
US Citizenship or Green Card Holder required (required by federal government for this position)

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$63,511.00 - $107,968.00
