What You Will Do:
The L’Oreal Professional Products Division’s Digital Team is looking for a passionate and creative storyteller to bring our brands to life across consumer touchpoints, including but not limited to: social, influencer, media campaigns, and CRM.
A new pillar of the Consumer Engagement & Content Team, our Storytellers will be responsible for mixing together brand voice, mission, and priorities with consumer insights and trends in order to create content that entertains, educates, and engages consumers.
This role will sit on the Divisional CDMO team, reporting to the Vice President of Consumer Engagement & Content and working closely with the brand teams to foster a digital-first, brand at the core mentality wherein they will be able to move with freedom in a frame. They will work cross-functionally with our Digital Team (Content, Advocacy & Influencer, Media, Ecommerce) as well as with Local and Global Brand teams.
Using daily social listening reports and their own finger on the pulse, this person will turn social and cultural insights into brand impact, taking trending topics and formats from social and translating them to an on-brand piece of content, either for the brand account or through creators.
This person is a strong believer in collaboration, they value feedback and the input of others, and understand that through collaboration good ideas become great ones. They are a self-starter who can both ideate and execute on creative ideas, both autonomously and through partners. They are known for meeting deadlines and for speed to market.
They understand what drives culture and how to create at the speed of it. They know what will move someone to double-tap, follow, and engage with branded content within the guidelines of #ad.
Responsibilities include:
Actioning on 2+ trends weekly across owned and/or influencer accounts.
Monitoring content for media potential
Crafting monthly wrap reports complete with performance metrics, learnings, and future opportunities in partnership with cross-functional team.
Staying on top of social and cultural conversations and trends and participating in the daily social listening meeting to share
Keeping a finger on the pulse of social, understanding best practices, new features, etc.
Ad-hoc brainstorms for campaign planning with brand teams
Creative ideation and copywriting, where applicable, for comments, SMS, and campaigns
What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience working in relevant areas (editorial, creative direction/strategy, social media, influencer, community management, agency or in-house)
Interest in industry trends, best practices
Experience with all social media platforms (IG, FB, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube)
Strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
Proven writing skills (technical and creative)
Strong time management and prioritization skills
Exceptional collaborator and team-player
Portfolio of past branded content work
