Key job responsibilities
Develop and drive strategies to grow Amazon Freight's US Less Than Truckload business by working across partner teams including Sales, Pricing, Product, Operations, and Support.
Build and manage the Amazon Freight Less Than Truckload New Initiative P&Ls and reporting across associated partner teams.
Own the short (1 year), medium (3 year) and long-term financial forecasts for new business initiatives.
Engage Amazon Freight's network planning and operations teams to guide strategic supply chain innovations to grow new business initiatives.
Maintain and continuously improve the investment thesis for new demand channels.
Own ROI for investments in our new business initiatives.
Drive cost reduction initiatives to improve customer pricing.
A day in the life
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the strategic vision and execution of new business initiatives supported by Amazon Freight's Less Than Truckload Operation. Your day may involve analyzing P&L data, identifying opportunities for optimization, and developing strategies to improve profitability while fostering growth. You will engage with program managers, product managers, supply chain operations, and finance to align on initiatives and overcome challenges. You will drive alignment across multiple teams on a long term vision for AF LTL's new business initiatives and influencing operations and product roadmaps to support that vision.
About the team
You will be part of the Amazon Freight Less Than Truckload (AF LTL) Business team, a dynamic group responsible for driving strategy and owning the P&L for Amazon's internal Less Than Truckload initiative. The team collaborates closely with teams across Amazon Stores, as well as Amazon Freight Product, Finance and Operations teams to develop AF LTL into a full service transportation product. The team's mission is to build a profitable Less Than Truckload service that customers love.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with end to end product delivery
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience as a product manager or owner
Experience owning technology products
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
