Job Summary

As the Quality Assurance Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring the overall quality and reliability of our client's software products.

Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure the overall quality and reliability of our client's software products. This position will be a full-time 4 month contract and remote.

*What You’ll Do *

Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional and non-functional testing

Perform testing and debugging of new and existing application software

Design, execute, and automate API testing using Swagger or some other API testing tool, UI testing using Playwright and manual testing via a web browser

Collaborate with developers to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline

Perform unit testing to ensure code quality and maintainability

Identify and report defects, track and prioritize issues, and ensure timely resolution

Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and efficiency

Stay current with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and test automation

Develop and evolve test plans for complex applications

Deconstruct solutions into tests that optimize for coverage and risk.

Create trusted test automation with high reliability and relevancy

Extend test automation frameworks to incorporate new functionality

*What You'll Need *

Required:

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field

3 years experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role

Knowledge of and experience with .NET unit testing frameworks

Knowledge of and experience with End-to-end functional UI automation using modern tools such as Playwright

Knowledge of and experience with testing C# Typescript/JavaScript, CSS, and HTML

Knowledge of API testing including API automation, .NET, C#

Knowledge of database systems like MS SQL

Knowledge of and experience working with version control systems like Git

Physical Demands

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
