Float Pool gives the opportunity to develop clinical assessment skills as well as sharpen skills in communication and teamwork. Health care workers who are compassionate, hard-working, and flexible will find working on this unit very rewarding!
Units you may float to: Based on scope of practice.Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Medical Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown, Medical Stepdown, Surgical Stepdown, Cardiac Telemetry, Cardiac Vascular Intensive Care, Oncology, Neurology, Emergency Department, Behavioral Health, ICU, and more!
Locations included in the St Louis Region: Float to a minimum of 3 HospitalsSLTO: New Ballas RdJefferson: FestusSouth: South St Louis County- Kennerly RdWashington: Washington, MOLincoln: Troy, MOPerry: Perryville, MOSoutheast: Cape Girardeau, MO
Float Pool Qualifications:Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years bedside experience. 12 months of this experience should be within the last year.Required Education:
Nursing Degree from an accredited school.License:
current LPN license in our stateCertifications:
Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
Mercy Regional Travel LPN:If you are an experienced LPN (must have 1 year bedside experience), we have a Regional Travel position. The LPN will travel to all our Mercy St. Louis area hospitals!
Travel Perks:Base Rate (calculated off experience)
