**39188BR****Requisition ID:**39188BR**Business Unit:**FSU**Job Description:**The Disaster Planning Specialist:Provides technical recommendations and assists with the development of training aids, instructor guides, student manuals and web-based training for FEMA Public Assistance courses.Conducts preliminary damage assessments in the field, reviews FEMA Public Assistance applicant data, and makes recommendations regarding claim eligibility.Documents damages, scopes of work and estimated costs to repair or replace a facility or structure. Reviews estimates against the final cost.Provides analyses and updated reports, participates in status update meetings with FEMA, and identifies the need for technical specialists. We are looking for qualified candidates for this position in anticipation of future project opportunities.
