SUMMARY:The Compliance Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that the organization adheres to all permit standards and in-house policies. This position will be responsible for tracking all existing permits (Air, Gas, Environmental, Mining) and providing guidance on compliance matters.RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and implement company policies and regulations related to permit compliance.Review and update current polices to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Monitor operational processes and procedures to ensure compliance with all permit regulations and ethical standards.Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify compliance issues and potential risks.Maintain detailed records of all compliance activities and investigations.Prepare and present clear and concise compliance reports to senior management.Collaborate with various departments and provide ongoing education to ensure awareness and adherence to compliance requirements.Stay updated on changes in regulations and industry trends to proactively address compliance issues.Assist with other tasks or responsibilities as delegated by senior management to support the organization’s compliance efforts and operational objectives.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.Experience in compliance management and mining regulations is a plus.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Effective verbal and written communication skills.High ethical standards and integrity.
