We are looking for a driven, intellectually curious, and client-focused Water and Wastewater Project Manager in Cary, NC, to support our water / wastewater treatment, conveyance, and water resources team. We want you to partner with us and our clients to deliver world-class solutions in the local market.

As a key member of our Cary team, you’ll have the chance todrive forward challenging projects as the Project Manager - building trust with utilities by planning, directing, and monitoring all aspects of projects with high degrees of technical complexity. You’ll do this by developing strategies for client success and then leading implementation of that strategy. This can range from funding, regulatory compliance, digital tools, concept through detailed design, construction, commissioning, and programmatic support. Among the many types of projects led by this team are conveyance and pipelines, pump stations, water and wastewater treatment facilities, master planning, and asset management. You will be leading a multi-disciplined delivery team to complete tasks within budgets you establish and advancing our business development strategies. In addition to your project management role, you’ll have the opportunity to build trust with clients, demonstrate value through strong strategy development and delivery, team lleadership, and mentoring of staff. Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

• Passion for the water industry and serving municipal clients

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the water/wastewater industry with a project management focus

• North Carolina Professional Engineer’s license or ability to obtain one within 6 months

• Strong written and verbal communication skills Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Project leadership and management experience including demonstrated experience leading and managing small to mid-size, multi-disciplined, water or wastewater projects with construction values ranging from under $1M to several million dollars

• Recent experience working with water and wastewater utilities in the Carolinas market

• Experience in managing alternative delivery projects (CMAR and/or PDB)

• Familiarity with Bluebeam and ProjectWise • Active participant in state or national professional water organizations (i.e. AWWA, WEF, NC OneWater, ASCE)
