Job Summary
Provide basic office support services within a campus unit to include preparing correspondence and other documents, filing, receiving and referring office visitors/phone calls and performing related activities. This position will interact with on a consistent basis with: unit management and staff and office visitors. This position typically will advise and counsel: N/A. This position will supervise: N/A.
Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 -Perform word processing, fax and copy documents.
Job Duty 2 -File documents.
Job Duty 3 -Receive and refer phone calls; greet and direct office visitors.
Job Duty 4 -Sort and distribute mail.
Job Duty 5 -Update basic databases.
Job Duty 6 -Perform mail merges.
Job Duty 7 -Schedule routine meetings and appointments.
Job Duty 8 -Obtain supplies for work unit.
Job Duty 9 -Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Educational RequirementsHigh school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma
Other Required QualificationsLicense in the State of Georgia as a registered dental hygienist (RDH); CPR certification Position requires standing 4-8 hours per day and ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Required ExperienceOne year of job related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred ExperienceThree or more years of related working experience
Proposed Salary
$33,282.00 - $52,390.00 (depending on experience)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
ABILITIESMust have open availability to include nights and weekends. The ability to follow both oral and written instructions, work with diverse population, and take direction required.
KNOWLEDGEExperience with cash handling, and a former Barista in a coffee establishment preferred.
SKILLSThis job requires basic skills in general office operations to include word processing for correspondence and other documentation, office reception duties and use of office related computer applications.
