You will translate technical features and capabilities into compelling business value propositions, messaging, and content that resonates with prospects and customers.This role will involve collaborating closely with product management, sales, as well as cross-functional teams across corporate marketing and other business units.
What you will doOwn product launches for new and rapidly evolving joint GTM motions with multiple HPE business units
Direct cross-functional, cross- organizational teams and agencies in the development and execution of GTM plans and budgets.
Create simple, compelling messaging that resonates with customers, applying your ITOM knowledge and understanding of the markets and personas – You are a master storyteller!
Work closely with inbound product managers to build a shared market and product vision, and a relationship that forms the foundation of all outbound activities
Deliver compelling, high-quality content, in a variety of formats that drives engagement, leads, and pipeline.
Be a subject matter expert and a go-to resource for the sales and field marketing teams
Represent the company with analysts, press, customers and at events, to evangelize our point of view - You like to write and present
Create training, collateral and other materials to educate our sales team and partners, including presentations, FAQs, and sales play guides.
Become a trusted partner to product, sales, partner marketing and advocacy teams and establish a continuous feedback loop around market trends, customer feedback, and the competitive landscape
Gather key customer and target audience insights to inform product positioning and messaging as well as the product roadmap
What You’ll Bring To This RoleBachelor's degree in marketing, computer science, or a related field; MBA preferred.
10+ years of experience in
product marketing, or product management in observability, ITOM, log management, or SaaS and enterprise software.
Comprehensive understanding of
product marketing
and all
its strategic components
Proven experience developing
go-to-marketing strategies
and
bringing new products
to market
Excellent written, verbal, and visual
communication
skills with a passion for
storytelling
Proven track record of developing and executing successful
GTM strategies
and
campaigns
that drive awareness, demand generation, and market leadership.
Strong analytical skills and experience conducting market and competitive analysis to identify key trends, insights, and opportunities.
Experience presenting to and influencing senior executives, customers, partners, analysts, and technical audiences.
Highly motivated self-starter with a passion for storytelling, and driving business results.
Strong project and budget management skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build, manage and influence virtual teams.
Exceptional negotiating, influencing, conflict resolution, and consensus-building skills.
Ability to deal with highly complicated strategic/tactical issues; interface with senior management, and senior cross-functional/cross- organizational management
