Job Summary
ICF is seeking a skilled Drupal Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Drupal architecture, modules, and theming, as well as experience in building and maintaining complex websites and applications. You will work closely with designers, content creators, and other developers to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
Location
Remote, candidate must reside in the U.S. and work must be performed in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and deliver Drupal sites that are fully compliant with standards for design, accessibility, security, and performance
Write automated tests that support the delivery of quality software
Help define and support your application’s path to production
Work with less experienced engineers to level up their skills
Work directly with stakeholders and team members to set and manage expectations throughout the life of the project
Operate within an agile development process
Required Qualifications:
3+ years building secure, accessible, responsive web applications
2+ years building Drupal solutions, including module development, theming, and migrations
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
All work must be conducted within the U.S.
Able to travel one time to either NC or DC to pick up a badge in person
Must be willing to complete additional background screenings at the time of hire or any time thereafter as requested by federal government.
Professional Skills:
Demonstrable command of Drush and Composer
A strong understanding of the core technologies of the web: HTTP, SSL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON
A general understanding of containerization
Strong oral and written communication skills and the willingness to use them
A strong sense of ownership and engagement
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity working in and with Cloud technologies like AWS and Acquia
Familiarity with PHP frameworks such as Symfony, Laravel, and CakePHP
Experience building decoupled Drupal solutions
