George Fox University's Nursing program is recruiting for a highly driven and capable individual to serve as a Clinical Placement Specialist Program Technician.About the Job:
This position provides coordination, implementation, and analysis of administrative operations, and clinical placement-related functions for the clinical programs and services of the College of Nursing (CON). This position has detailed knowledge of complex systems, operations, processes, and policies related to compliance, clinical onboarding, clinical contracts, accreditation, and state and federal regulations related to nursing education. This position assists the Clinical Services Manager with compliance and clinical placement management, and supports various administrative aspects within the CON.Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assisting with development, implementation, and management of all onboarding and compliance systems and procedures, ensuring compliance with OHA, OSBN, nursing accreditation, and clinical partners.
Analyzing and resolving complex issues and developing process improvement.
Analyzing various CON data and developing reports related to clinical services, and state and national regulatory/accrediting bodies.
Preparing spreadsheets, analyzes and builds reports for budgets and program evaluation.
Tracking expenses and preparing invoices and expense reports for reimbursement and billing.
Prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously, and providing follow through on issues in a timely manner.
Serving as principal contact and source of information for customers of the CON, including faculty, students, staff, and external customers.
Supporting day to day operations of the CON.
Using multiple technical applications including word processing, database management, spreadsheets, graphics, presentation software, electronic calendars, email, etc.
Maintaining strict confidentiality and evaluates results of GFU nursing students' compliance documents.
Maintaining accurate historical records of student and faculty clinical placement.
Communicating effectively and courteously with others, including employees, students, and the public, in a spirit of teamwork, respect and customer service.
By actions, words, and lifestyle, be a Christian role model to students, whether through casual contact or in a formal supervisory role.
Demonstrated experience working cross culturally with respect, appreciation and humility.

This vital role helps ensure clinical placements for all nursing students throughout the program. This involves relationship building, strong organization and prioritization skills, ongoing process/program improvement, various administrative skills, and positive communication skills. The College of Nursing team consists of innovative professionals striving to prepare future nurses to care in a holistic, Christ-like manner.We're looking for candidates who have:
Two years of college and professional office or project management work. If no college, 3+ years of relevant experience.
Excellent professional, interpersonal, organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Demonstrated abilities to be successful in ambiguous environments.
Experience with complex calendaring and scheduling in a health-related field.
Demonstrated aptitude in creative thinking, problem solving, and initiative.
Demonstrated skills in team building and problem solving.
Experience with program development and process improvement.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
A commitment to working with a diverse population of students.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
