The USBA Identify, Classify, Empower and Discover (ICED) Team helps drive the success of small businesses (including sellers, vendors, developers, authors, and delivery service providers) and underserved business populations (including minority-, women-, and veteran-owned businesses) through building products, features and programs that help more customers shop small and undiscovered businesses. We are seeking a high-judgment, business oriented, self-motivated professional to own strategy and execution of initiatives that enable customers to shop small ad undiscovered business brands on Amazon, while also collaborating to define and providing input into the long-term strategic vision for discoverability. This role will have a high degree of ownership for defining programs, products, and scalable solutions that raise the bar on a customer's shopping experience. The role is inherently cross-functional within the org and across Amazon – you will work closely with engineering, science & analytics, UX research and design, customer and selling partner insights, marketing and executive teams across the business to define our 2025 discoverability charter and long-term strategy.

The ideal candidate thinks strategically, takes initiative, and dives deep into details. They can develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives but also roll up their sleeves, dig in and get the job done. Maturity, strong business judgment, ability to earn trust with engineering and influence cross-functional teams, a customer-centric and creative mindset and strong analytical skills are essential. The candidate for this position also embraces ambiguity, ramps quickly on complex issues, and is skilled at communicating complex issues simply and convincingly to a wide range of audiences.

Key job responsibilities

• Owns product roadmap strategy to drive the discoverability and shoppability of small and undiscovered business brands on Amazon.

• Owns day-to-day product management of Small Business badge and Black-owned business badge globally

• Understands customer (internal and external) needs, defines clear project plans and product requirements, and executes to high expectations in a fast-paced environment.

• Represents, verbally and in writing, complex decisions, tough trade-offs, and potential solutions clearly to leaders to help them understand the decisions they have to make and what options they have

• Drive cross-functional and cross-regional alignment to achieve strategic program goals

• Track and report program learnings and effectiveness to stakeholders

• Anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management, anticipating and making tradeoffs, and balancing business needs versus technical or operational constraints.

• Interacting with stakeholders at multiple levels and in multiple regions, and working with business, marketing, tech and analytics teams to define and deliver solutions.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

Experience with end to end product delivery

Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Experience as a product manager or owner

Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
