Job Description
The Product Manager/Owner is responsible for setting a product strategy and vision, communicating it early and often. They understand their customer needs and translates them into valuable, feasible, and usable products that bring business benefits. They define and maintain Roadmaps, Personas, Backlogs, managing the cost of ownership. They work with agile teams to bring their digital products to life. IT Product Managers at Procter and Gamble work closely with our engineers and designers to guide products from conception to launch. These IT products can be built to deliver value across our business from products built for our P&G brands, to products built for our Supply Chain, HR business processes, or Information Security organization. As part of the Product Management team, you will bridge the technical and business world as you design products that the products consumers love! You will be responsible for developing and delivering best-in-class product roadmaps that advance Procter and Gamble’s mission. This role requires coordination across your internal product team and partners and will be visible within multiple levels of the company.
For this internship, you would be in Cincinnati, Ohio for the duration of the summer.
Champion the needs of the products consumers.
Build the reason for your product roadmap, and measure and report to partners on the impact of product within the market
Be responsible for product performance.
Present and align on roadmap with senior leadership team on a recurring basis.
Evangelize the product vision and empower team-members critical to the product’s success by developing and telling the story of what we are building, why we are building it, how the team will get there, and why we will win as a result.
Break down strategies into meaningful consumer stories.
Continuously improving your product and process.
Drive execution and remove roadblocks by prioritizing and descoping features when vital, stepping in as an individual contributor for others, and making swift judgement calls when teams are at an impasse.
Job Qualifications
In process of obtaining a BS or MS/MBA in Computer Science, Business/Management Information Systems, Computer/Systems/Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, Operations Research or Statistics.
You must be available during the Summer of 2025 between Mid/ Late May through early August
You must be graduating December 2026 or later.
Preferred:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs, and evaluate opportunistic innovative ideas with internal and external partners.
Ability to think strategically and implement methodically.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired.
Proven record of accomplishment of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
