As the Lead Product Owner for the AJC Mobile App, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of our mobile app strategy. Launched just this January, our mobile app is a critical part of our growth strategy and has already shown great promise in acquiring, engaging, and retaining subscribers. Your primary focus will be on increasing in-app subscribers through innovative features, seamless user experiences, and data-driven decision-making. Additionally, you will have a key role in advancing our engagement and personalization efforts both within and beyond the mobile app to ensure a consistent and engaging user experience across all touchpoints. Key Responsibilities: Mobile App Strategy & Development: Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the mobile app. Be the expert of app best practices and the competitive landscape to create the best product experience Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, development, marketing, and analytics to deliver high-quality app experiences. Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs. Monitor app performance and user feedback to continuously improve the product. Growth & Subscription Management: User centered principles that create a full lifecycle experience that is informed by data and research Develop and implement strategies to increase in-app subscriptions and user engagement. Work closely with marketing and analytics teams to understand user behavior and identify opportunities for growth. Design and execute A/B tests to optimize conversion rates and subscriber retention. Engagement Initiatives: Lead the engagement strategy across all digital platforms, ensuring a cohesive and tailored user experience. Utilize data and insights to drive personalized content recommendations, notifications, and user interactions. Collaborate with the technology team to integrate personalization features and ensure scalability. Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all mobile app-related matters, providing regular updates to stakeholders both internal and external. Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to align on goals and deliverables. Prepare and present product reports, roadmaps, and performance metrics to senior management. Qualifications: Required : Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field Experience working with digital products and platforms Experience managing subscription-based growth and/or other revenue-generating B2C products Understanding of mobile app development process and launches Preferred : Familiarity with online video processes and player design Experience defining products tied to Content Management Systems Experience working in an agile development process Understanding of mobile form factors, marketing technology, and social media USD 106,700.00 - 177,900.00 per year Compensation: Compensation includes a base salary of $106,700.00 - $177,900.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
