Job Summary
We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team! The ideal candidate should have at least 2-5 years of experience in Digital Marketing including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and advertising campaigns within multiple channels (Google, Facebook and others). With a proven track record of improving local small business website rankings and traffic. The ideal candidate has previous experience in a marketing role, has excellent communication skills, and can work well both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Craft Impactful Local SEO Strategies: Develop and implement cutting-edge local SEO strategies tailored to small business websites. This includes optimizing on-page elements, enhancing technical SEO, conducting thorough keyword research, performing competitor analysis, and driving content strategy to boost online visibility.
Proactive Site Audits & SEO Metrics: Regularly audit websites to ensure peak performance, track essential SEO metrics, and uncover opportunities for improvement. Your keen eye will spot trends and drive enhancements that propel our clients to the top of search results.
Data-Driven Insights & Optimization: Analyze site traffic and user behavior to unearth valuable insights. Use this data to refine strategies and create targeted opportunities that elevate user experience and engagement.
Lead Comprehensive Digital Marketing Campaigns: Strategize, plan, and execute all-encompassing digital marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM, database marketing, email campaigns, social media, and display advertising, ensuring each campaign hits the mark.
Masterful PPC Campaign Management: Take charge of PPC campaigns from start to finish—launch, manage, optimize, and organize campaigns, primarily within Google Ads, to maximize client ROI and drive impactful results.
Collaborative Vision Execution: Work hand-in-hand with other departments to ensure our company’s message and vision are seamlessly integrated into every digital touchpoint, maintaining brand consistency and impact.
Engage & Grow Social Media Presence: Design, build, and sustain a strong social media presence that captivates audiences, driving engagement and growth across platforms.
Performance Measurement & Optimization: Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, evaluating against key goals like ROI and KPIs. Use insights to continually optimize spend and strategy for even greater success.
Trendspotting & Strategic Adjustment: Stay ahead of the curve by identifying emerging trends and insights. Use this knowledge to fine-tune campaign strategies, optimize budget allocation, and enhance overall performance.
Requirements and Education:
2-5 years of marketing experience, with a focus on local small businesses.
Proficiency in website analysis tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
Strong knowledge of on-page optimization, technical SEO, keyword research, link building, and content strategy.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to give and receive team feedback.
Excellent copywriting and editing skills.
Proficiency with major digital marketing channels and social media tools (Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, iContact, SocialPilot, HubSpot, etc.). Paid social experience is a plus.
Experience with photo and video editing tools like Canva and Adobe.
Strong knowledge of WordPress/Elementor.
Experience managing and optimizing business listings on platforms like Google Business Profile and Apple Maps Business Connect.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO best practices.
Agency experience, including creating custom SEO reports and client presentations, is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business. Sales and customer service experience preferred.
