We welcome all healthcare professionals to join our thriving community and contribute to our pursuit for clinical excellence.ResponsibilitiesVolunteers are at the center of our organization's mission to provide high quality health care to our diverse community; and the Director of Volunteer Services works strategically to design, develop and executive initiatives that attract, and retain volunteers that embody Our values. Responsibilities include:Responsible for overall direction of the organization's volunteer program.Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to Volunteer Coordinator, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continued education initiatives.Leads, develops, designs and evaluates volunteer recruitment and retention strategies.Represents the organization at community events, builds pipelines/networks and develops community partnerships.Manages the high school internship and volunteer program while fostering strong relationships with high schools, colleges, universities, and community-based organizations.Plans and carries out various volunteer appreciation initiatives and events, such as the Volunteer Recognition Dinner.Continuously monitors and assesses the quality and effectiveness of volunteer programs by creating KPIs to measure efficiency, service, and productivity.Meets with leadership regularly to review volunteer programs and identify areas of improvement.Defines, implements, and maintains service standards and quality control procedures.Ensures compliance with organizational policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulatory agencies regarding volunteer services.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related disciplines.5-7 years managerial experience within healthcare industry preferably in volunteer programs.
