Description
The
Banking Assistant Center Manager
is responsible for critical and complex banking center operations and service functions to ensure the highest level of efficient customer service. This position manages and directs platform and paying and receiving activity, achieves retail sales targets, and delivers service profitability through well trained and motivated staff. In some markets, the position may require performing extensive paying and receiving activities. Other responsibilities include:
Implements a strong performance management process that involves clearly stating expectations, accountabilities, and monitors performance
Maintains security controls to protect against criminal or fraudulent activity and unnecessary risk or exposure
Coaches staff and demonstrates skills needed to uncover customer needs, referral, and expansion opportunities and delivers appropriate products and services; ensures the delivery of bank service standards ensuring that customers receive timely and accurate service
Manages staffing levels to ensure proper coverage including supervisory
Supports the implementation of sales and service initiatives and activities to achieve established sales goals
Ensures audit, compliance, internal controls, and expenses are administered to manage risk, minimize losses and negative exposure to the bank
Participates with banking center manager in the allocation of retail sales goals and the achievement of individual sales goals
Requires work on physical bank premises
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
5 years banking and supervisory experience based on banking center complexity; customer service and operations experience
Skills:
Personal leadership skills; ability to maintain composure under pressure; good communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Word; basic keyboarding and calculator skills; must be able to perform advanced math and carry out complex written instructions
Travel to a variety of locations to perform work and/or attend meetings as required.
Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential functions of the position
Lifting in an office setting may be required up to 30 lbs.
Ability to move quickly between multiple workstations.
